Why choose mobile storage?
Mobile storage is the fastest and most cost effective way to store. Traditional storage requires you to load everything into a truck or car to transport to their storage facility. This means you're double handling, which greatly increases the chance of damage or breakage, not to mention the time it takes and cost of hiring a vehicle.
By bringing the storage unit to your home or business you can pack it securely knowing that it will be exactly as you left it next time you see it. You'll save time and money by not having to cart it yourself or pay for a removalist or van hire.

Budget Box offers the cheapest storage you'll find due to our module system. By stacking and packing modules tighter into the warehouse it reduces the space required to store, so we can pass this saving onto you!

Is there a minimum or maximum stay?
There is no lock-in contract, you can stay as little as 1 month, but take a look at our pricing page for the latest deals on long stays.
There is no maximum stay, you're welcome to stay as long as you like.
We only ask that you give us 14 days notice before ending your storage term.
How secure is the box?
Our storage modules are made from high grade plywood, built to handle storage of up to 1000Kg. Once you've packed your module you lock it up with your own pad lock (Or use one that we provide) and you keep the only key.
Our warehouse is a secure premises with staff on site between 7am and 6pm. There is a back-to-base security system with CCTV monitors recording around the clock. We regularly conduct fire checks and mitigate against vermin.
Is the Box Weatherproof?
Yes. The storage box will be delivered to you with a heavy-duty, fully waterproof cover. The cover easily unzips to access the door when loading.
When the storage box arrives back at our Glenorchy storage facility, it will be stored inside a fully enclosed warehouse. So your property will be safe, secure and dry.
How will the box be delivered?
The box will be delivered on a trailer that will be unhitched and left at your chosen address. The trailer comes equipped with a non-slip ramp for easy access which we will set up and pack up for you.
The trailer has stabilisers so is very sturdy to walk on. The wheels will be locked so there is no chance of theft while parked at your premises.
Can I access my storage box?
Yes! You're welcome to visit our warehouse to add to or take items from your module. We just require at least 30 minutes notice to make your box available.

Can you redeliver the box?
Yes. Once you're finished packing the storage box and we've taken it away to our warehouse, you can book in a time to redeliver the box back to you at anytime. Whether you want to end your storage term, or you want to add or remove items from your box, you can book in a redelivery. Our redelivery prices are outlined on the pricing page and you can contact us to book a time.
What can't I load into a box?
So that our storage warehouse is safe we must prohibit some items, including:
- Flammable or hazardous goods
- Firearms, munitions or explosives
- Toxic, polluted or contaminated goods
- Living plants or animals
- Food or perishable goods
- Illegal goods
- Waste

As a rough guide, our storage modules can fit about the amount of furniture as you would find in a 1 bedroom apartment. The weight limit is 1000Kg.

Do I need insurance?
While we have systems in place and take great care in looking after your box, some accidents are unavoidable. Unfortunately, because we don't have access to the contents of the boxes, we are unable to provide insurance for your stored items. We recommend adding offsite storage to your home and contents policy.
